A.JU Restaurant

A.JU is a casual dining restaurant in Tallinn's Fahle quarter, where every dish speaks not only to the taste buds but also to the imagination. A.JU's mysterious force shapes our feelings, perceptions and thoughts — that same mystique and element of surprise carries through both the restaurant's concept and the menu, refined down to every detail. The meeting of Scandinavian and Asian flavors with Italian nuances and old Estonian traditions creates unexpected and enticing combinations. A.JU's kitchen is led by head chef Marko Sõmer, whose experience spans Estonia's top gastronomy to internationally Michelin-recognized kitchens. Marko has worked within Gordon Ramsay's restaurant concept Powerscourt and honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Hamburg. His achievements include the Estonian Chefs' Association (EPÜ) Cordon Bleu distinction, silver and bronze medals at the IKA Culinary Olympics as captain of the Estonian national team, leading Horisont — a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide — and recognition from Silverspoon and Falstaff. Marko's culinary approach combines international experience, seasonal ingredients and modern techniques. The experience is enhanced by A.JU's signature drinks — mysterious blends that awaken curiosity and take you on a journey beyond the ordinary. A.JU is a place for anyone seeking more than just a meal — it's a journey that lingers in the memory.
