Lennusadam

Lennusadam is home to one of Northern Europe’s most impressive maritime museums. In the historic seaplane hangars nearly 200 authentic exhibits are on display, telling the stories of Estonian seafaring, shipping and maritime defence. You can see the actual submarine Lembit, the century-old icebreaker Suur Tõll, the seaplane Short 184 and the oldest known shipwreck of Estonian origin. Simulators, play areas and hands-on exhibits turn a museum visit into an experience where learning and discovery go hand in hand. Families can follow the trail of Kipper the cat through the museum, and the very youngest visitors will find a sea-themed play area at Lennusadam. We also offer a variety of programs, events and self-guided materials that are playful, educational and broaden the horizons of visitors both young and old.
