Paws for a Moment
Nestled between the two lobbies of the Metropol Hotel, we are a modern cat café and coworking space — one of the first places in the world built equally for both. Come to work, linger over coffee, or simply spend time with cats who needed a second chance. We are home to 17 rescued cats. They come from shelters, private individuals, and breeders who are retiring their cats. Fast Wi-Fi, cozy sofas, and comfortable tables and chairs make it easy to settle in. Prefer a quieter room without cats? A small private office is available. Beyond the everyday, we host events such as cat yoga, movie nights with cats, crochet with cats, painting with cats, and more. This is not only a place to hang out. We have a social mission. We help street cats, work with shelters, and match cats with new homes through our "Cat Tinder" adoption program. We also welcome children with cancer or serious illness for free cat-therapy days, and people living with depression can visit at no cost.

House Rules for Paws For A Moment General Rules Sanitization: All guests must sanitize their hands before interacting with the cats. Food and Drink: Only consume food and beverages in designated areas. Do not feed the cats human food. Personal Belongings: Keep personal items secure. Paws For A Moment is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Cat Interaction Gentle Touch: Do not pick up the cats. Allow them to come to you. Pet them gently and follow staff guidance. Respect Their Space: Do not disturb sleeping cats. If a cat retreats, do not follow or harass it. Supervised Play: Use toys provided by the cafe to play with the cats. Do not use personal items as toys. Behavior Noise Levels: Maintain a quiet environment. Use headphones for electronic devices and keep conversations at a moderate volume. Respectful Conduct: Be respectful to other guests, staff, and cats. Disruptive behavior will result in removal from the premises. Cleanliness: Clean up after yourself and dispose of trash in designated bins. Coworking Space Work Etiquette: Respect the coworking space by keeping noise to a minimum and cleaning your workspace before leaving. Reservations: Adhere to reservation and cancellation policies. Only use spaces you have reserved. Professional Use: The coworking area is for professional activities. Refrain from loud phone calls or disruptive behavior. Safety and Emergency Allergies: Be aware that this environment may contain allergens. Inform staff if you experience any allergic reactions. Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. Follow staff instructions during emergencies. Health Issues: Inform staff immediately if a cat appears to be unwell or if you sustain any injuries. Compliance Follow Instructions: Always follow the instructions of the staff. They are here to ensure the safety and well-being of both guests and cats. Report Issues: Report any issues or concerns to staff immediately. We are here to help.
