Top Italian and French design, art, and carefully selected materials give the small space a character all its own, while behind the large glass surfaces the forest begins almost directly outside the room. Beyond the glass doors, Päkapikumaja continues as a flowing-form terrace, and beneath the large oak awaits a private wood-fired hot tub where you can turn on both the bubble function and coloured lighting. In the evenings, an illuminated parasol creates an inviting atmosphere on the terrace, with colours and lighting modes selectable by remote control. Thus, the evening can naturally progress from a shared dinner to the fireplace, then to the wine cellar, and finally to a warm hot tub in the middle of the forest. Päkapikumaja is especially well suited to occasions whose value lies in their intimacy—a moment you would not want to share with a large group. The separate bedroom has a spacious double bed, while the particularly comfortable sofa bed in the living room provides sleeping space for two more.
