Tartu Observatory was in its time one of the world’s most important centers of astronomy. It also contains a point of the Struve Geodetic Arc, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005. The observatory’s rooms are well suited for hosting birthday parties, receptions and seminars for small groups. Furnishings and equipment: 6 small folding tables and 50 folding chairs, a screen, a projector, and in one hall a basic sound system. For events you can book a guided tour, a planetarium show, or, in clear weather, telescope viewing.
