Suur angaar is one of the most unique event spaces — a spacious hall suitable for large events ranging from concerts and festivals to galas. The space can accommodate up to 2,000 guests for a standing event, 800 theatre-style seats, and 650 in a round-table format. Two vaults form a high and impressive ceiling that leaves room for both a grand stage design and a large audience. Six toilets serve guest comfort, and during the winter season a heating system keeps the space warm — the event season in Suur angaar therefore runs year-round. A separate service entrance makes it easier to bring in and out larger constructions, stage and technical elements, making the space convenient for bulkier stage designs and trade-show setups. In addition, Suur angaar provides access to the tribune hall, creating additional possibilities for planning event logistics and space layout. Esimene angaar works excellently as a foyer, offering guests a more private reception or lounge area before entering the main hall. This combination makes it possible to organize multi-level events — from a more intimate opening ceremony to a grand main event in Suur angaar.

Põhjala Kalosseum's 'front room' — the First Hangar The First Hangar is an ideal private event space for private parties, concerts, seminars and video shoots. With its high ceilings and columns, the space is old but dignified, and in its venerable age has already hosted many events. We have hosted markets, birthday parties, weddings and seminars here. For larger-scale events it works perfectly when booked together with the Large Hangar. The hangar is adorned with an old metal-frame elevator — don't be fooled: the elevator no longer manages to take you up to the second floor, but it certainly adds character to the hall.

MandatoryPõhjala Kalosseum's 'suurtuba' — a spacious and unique event space. The Suur angaar is one of Estonia's most unique event venues, occupying 1,200 m² on the first floor. An ideal hall for large festivals, trade fairs and galas. Two vaults form a high ceiling, and the skylight is covered. The Suur angaar has a separate loading door and is connected to both the Esimese angaari and the tribüünisaal. There is also access to the second-floor Angaarinstituut, offering a range of options for event logistics. Events for up to 2,000 people. The Suur angaar's event season runs year-round.
