The first hangar is an excellent choice for a smaller-scale private event — whether it’s a birthday, wedding, seminar or training session. The space can accommodate up to 350 guests, depending on the layout: theatre-style seating for 250, up to 350 people for a standing event, and seating for 150 in a round-table format. The room features a stage suitable for performances, speeches and musical programmes, and a separate bar lounge where guests can take a breather during the event. Convenience is provided by two restrooms. The factory’s raw, industrial vibe gives the space a distinctive character — it’s not a sterile conference hall but an authentic, historic venue that adapts smoothly to the rhythm of an evening party as well as a business training. Birthdays, weddings and seminars have been held here, and each time the space has managed to leave its mark.

MandatoryPõhjala Kalosseum's 'front room' — the First Hangar The First Hangar is an ideal private event space for private parties, concerts, seminars and video shoots. With its high ceilings and columns, the space is old but dignified, and in its venerable age has already hosted many events. We have hosted markets, birthday parties, weddings and seminars here. For larger-scale events it works perfectly when booked together with the Large Hangar. The hangar is adorned with an old metal-frame elevator — don't be fooled: the elevator no longer manages to take you up to the second floor, but it certainly adds character to the hall.
