MUHK, the Rural Life Curiosity Centre at the Eesti Põllumajandusmuuseum in Ülenurme, is an experience-rich place offering discovery, exploration and hands-on fun for visitors of all ages. It’s a spot where rural life comes vividly close in a playful, educational and engaging way. The two-storey centre presents contemporary agriculture through practical activities. The exhibition "Laudasümfoonia" addresses animal welfare, feeding and husbandry. You can meet the museum’s farm animals and relax in the calming rabbit village. The exhibition "Sõnnik ja piim" adds excitement and even shows a rare manure spreader. For the more adventurous, there is a slightly unsettling veterinary room that offers a glimpse into the history of treating animals. Visitors can also explore the museum’s varakamber — an open storage area where fascinating items from the museum collections are on display.
